Hello my adoring fans!
well, I'm back from camp for a week and after work today I am tired. I don't mean to complain but it is really just toooooooooooooooooooooooooo hot! I can't wait to get back to camp this Friday. The weather doesn't seem to matter as much at camp. The people make up for it:)
Tomorrow I'm contact lenses! I've so many stories about them, some good dome bad but I'm going to try them for myself. I am excited!
Nathan Wolfe lent me this CD with background music for his movies and I've fallen in love with it! There is this one acoustic one and It is just so happy! And the last one is Fur Elise... REMIXED!!! It's AWESOME!
Thanx Nathan!
And the rest of you... I will try to write again soon;)

17

Hello my adoring fans!
Well it is true, as of last friday May 4th, yours truly got older. And let me tell you ever since that day I've had a killer back ache and my legs aren't working the way they should be and my heart is going "pitter" when it should be going "patter" and... actually I'm doing fine!
On the last day of my sixteenhood I actually drove in Saskatoon for my first time ever, by my self, during RUSH HOUR! It was scary but I survived to tell about it!
On my birthday I drove during rush hour too but my mom was with me and I actually had her take a few pictures of me driving with my digital camera that I got for my birthday!(thank you so much Mom and Dad!) I was going to share the pictures with you but my computer is to old for the software and I forgot to bring the cord with me to the library so... Maybe later!

"I Like to...MOO!"

Hello my adoring fans!
I am here today to tell you about something that some would consider a great advancement in my blogging career, others would think it an unspeakable sin and compromise on my part. Others still just wouldn't care.
I have a myspace.
BUT... this doesn't mean I am abandoning my blogspot. I am just spreading my love around.
Anyway... I think that you should go check it out. I'm not done decorating so don't judge me in that aspect but I do have a hillarious video (in my opinion anyway) called "I like to... MOO!" Its this cow singing that Madagascar song and it had me in stiches. It's a little rank but not really that bad.
Let me know what you think!

Friday the 13th

Hello my adoring fans!
Well, Friday the 13 is here. I’m not superstitious although sometimes I think I’d like to believe in that kind of thing even though I know its all folklore and coincidence. Today was actually one of the best days I’ve had in a while. I set up a new multimedia projector at our church this morning which was a challenge but fun! I’ve never done that before but I managed to figure it out in spite of the two computer illiterates that showed up to help. They were very ready with advice! I can only thank God for them otherwise I think I might kill or severely injure the one of them(they’re father and son and the son is my least favourite person…ever!).
You might consider my escapade on my way out of the church parking lot friday the 13th bad luck(if your into that stuff). Our church is less than a block away from the local hardware store and they sometimes borrow our parking lot to unload truck loads of lumber or gyprock or what ever. On this particular day while I was in the church they left a pallet of gyprock not to far behind my car and when I went to back out I didn’t see it and I have a pretty nice dent in the back right corner of my bumper! I was not impressed!!!
My mom was driving the van today and on her way home the power steering stopped working. She and I were joking earlier and we are now really hoping that Dad doesn’t total his truck on his way home from work.
But tonight I’m leading the youth activity and guess what we are doing. We are going to a cemetery(I hope that doesn’t offend anyone). My old youth pastor did it with us. We have a questionnaire to fill out (e.i. oldest person @ death, youngest, most recent death, earliest, who is buried next to…) and then there was devotion about what we have to do before we die and that death can come to anyone, not just older people. Pray that it goes well. I have never “done” a youth group activity before.
All I have left to say is “Oh My WOW” I can’t believe how long this is. My updates are usually short. Oh well…
Have a great weekend!

Hello my adoring fans!
Well as the slow hands of time continue to tick, my old bones continue their slow decay and my breaths become more laboured and my energy drains away. One day it will all be gone and then... and then...
PARTY UPSTAIRS!!!
The other day I was thinking about heaven and what I'll have to show for my life when I get there. I keep picturing myself standing there will reads over my little 2-paragraph "resume" and all the angels just shake their heads.
I'm pretty sure that it won't happen quite like that but still, I don't want to be embarrassed when I get up there.
You know, you never really think about heaven much. Most of the time we think about how to make our life down here bettter. And sometimes we think about bettering other peoples lives.
Just thought I'd share that thought with you. I am going to try to do better at making changes in life that will make a differance for God's kingdom.

Gettin' With the Pink!

Hello my adoring fans!
Sooooooooooooo? How do you like the pink? My time(at the library) is just about up so all I can tell you is that I am alive and well, fairly happy, and willing to bet it's either Phil s, Sanjaya or Gina that's going home from American Idol tonight!

New Look!

Hello my adoring fans!
First let me say that last night watching American Idol I was heartbroken that Antonella was cut, shocked that Sabrina didn't make it and overjoyed at the anouncement Ryan made about the "Idol Gives Back" program, and charity program to help struggling children and adults in Africa and the United States to celebrate reacing their 200th episode. I'm proud of them. AND I going to have to agree with Jeremy's comment a couple of posts ago, Chris Sligh Is a force to be reckoned with. I have to say I personally enjoy his perfomances.
On to other things, How do you like my new template? I know it looks pretty mellow for my personality but I like how poetic it looks. So leave a comment and let me know if you think it adds a new dimension to my personality or if it just makes it look like the diary of a middle aged women!

From a Dump to a Meadow

A bus driver became annoyed with what he saw. At the end of his run lay an open field which local "litter bugs turned into an unofficial dump. The driver had at least a seven-minute layover there several times a day. One day, he decided to get to get out of the bus and spend his few minutes of waiting time picking up a few of the bottles and cans.
The next day he took a long a little bigger sack and some gloves and during each layover he gathered up a little more of the trash. After a week of doing this, he was so encouraged by the change he had made in the field that he decided to spend all his free moments cleaning up the site. He worked all through the winter months, and when spring came he decided to sow some flower seeds on the land.
By the end of the summer, some of his regular riders actually began riding with him to the end of the line just to see what the driver had acomplished. He had turned a dump into a meadow, just a few minutes at a time, and the entire community benefitted.
Our neighborhoods are only as good as those who live in them. One step, one minute, one day at a time you can make yours an even better place for you and your neighbors to call home!
(this story came out of "God's Little Devotional Bible for Women" [don't ask] which I am reading. It's set up so that you can read the entire Bible in year. Today I read February 5th!)
God bless!

Romance

Hello my adoring fans!
Well, three60five was awesome! I came "this" close to being the fastest on the Adrenaline Rush; an inflatable obstacle course. I even skinned my elbow pretty good trying to do it.
Jeremy Sawatzky, the speaker, was great! I was really glad to see that he used lots of scripture in his sessions. A lot of speakers think the message would be more accepted by teens if they just use stories from life and/or TV. This guy used both but the scripture was clearly dominant.
Nathan D, juggling comedian, was there. I sat in the front row and was wishing I hadn't when he picked up the Amazon jungle machettes! Despite my uneasiness at times, he was really great!
I don't know how many of you watch American Idol but I'm really looking forward to this weeks shows! I really hope Antonella Barba steps out picks a great song this time. Jordin Sparks is another one I really like along with Lakisha, Blake, and Phil.
I can't wait for Canadian Idol to start. I like it better than the American one just because the competitors support eachother more and the judges are more constructive in their criticism. All in all it's just more "Canadian"!
Well I have to go now but I'll be back soon.
God bless!
Tim
PS don't ask me why the title is "Romance". I couldn't think of anything else ;)

Life goes on...

Hello my adoring fans!

Well this weekend I'm going to three60five at NBI. I've never gone bfore but i think it'll be a blast!
there isn't much else to say.
HEY! Go read Psalm 150. That's a cool passage. At the moment I don't remember what it's about(oops!) but I remember the refferance and that I liked it. So, when I get off of here I'm going to go read it again! :)
God Bless!
